ISLAMABAD: Croatia’s Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Gordan Grlić Radman, will undertake an official visit to Pakistan on July 9 and 10, diplomatic sources said on Tuesday.
According to the sources, preparations for the visit have been completed and the Croatian foreign minister is expected to hold wide-ranging talks with Pakistani officials during his stay in Islamabad.
The discussions will focus on strengthening bilateral cooperation in multiple sectors, including economic and trade relations, as well as broader areas of mutual interest. Both sides are also expected to review avenues for enhancing overall cooperation between Pakistan and Croatia.
During the visit, Grlić Radman is scheduled to meet Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar along with other senior government officials, diplomatic sources added.
A meeting between the Croatian foreign minister and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is also expected to take place during the visit.
The upcoming trip is being viewed as an important step in advancing diplomatic engagement between Pakistan and Croatia and exploring new opportunities for collaboration in economic, political and regional matters.
