SWAT: Strong earthquake tremors were felt in Swat and surrounding areas, causing panic among residents. According to the Seismological Centre, the earthquake measured 5.0 on the Richter scale and occurred at a depth of 224 kilometres. Its epicentre was located in the Hindu Kush mountain range. The tremors were felt in several areas, prompting residents to come out of their homes in fear. However, no casualties or property damage have been reported so far. The earthquake came a day after another tremor was felt in Swat and nearby areas. The previous earthquake measured 4.3 on the Richter scale and occurred at a depth of 104 kilometres. Authorities have advised residents to remain calm and follow safety precautions in case of further tremors.
