KARACHI: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Tuesday claimed to have arrested two suspected militants affiliated with the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) during an operation in Karachi, alleging that the pair were involved in gathering intelligence on sensitive installations and planning attacks against law enforcement agencies. According to CTD’s SSP Irfan Bahadur, the suspects were taken into custody during a targeted operation, while authorities recovered four kilogrammes of explosives, detonators and ball bearings from their possession.
