ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday strongly condemned Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia that injured 73 people, including women and children, as the Saudi-led coalition said several cities had been targeted. In a post on X, the prime minister expressed Pakistan’s solidarity with Saudi Arabia’s leadership and people, and reaffirmed Islamabad’s support for the kingdom’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. “I condemn in the strongest terms, the cowardly attack by Houthis targeting civilian and energy facilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which have left many people injured,” PM Shehbaz said. “Such dastardly attacks threaten innocent lives as well as regional peace and security,” he added.
