ISLAMABAD: The federal government has appointed Grade-20 Information Group officer Raeesa Adil as the new Principal Information Officer (PIO).

Prior to her new assignment, Raeesa Adil was serving as Executive Director General, External Publicity Wing under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

She brings extensive experience in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, having served in various key positions throughout her career. She has also worked as an Information Officer in several federal ministries.

Meanwhile, Grade-20 officer Mubashir Hassan has been appointed as the Director General, Digital Communication Department.
