ISLAMABAD: The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), in collaboration with the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination (NHSR&C) and the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP), will host the Pakistan–China Pharmaceutical & Healthcare B2B Investment Conference 2026 in Islamabad on July 17–18.
The two-day conference aims to strengthen Pakistan–China economic cooperation by promoting investment, innovation and strategic partnerships in the pharmaceutical, healthcare and biotechnology sectors.
According to the organisers, the event is part of SIFC’s broader efforts to facilitate foreign direct investment (FDI) and create an enabling environment for sustainable industrial growth by connecting international investors with high-potential sectors of Pakistan’s economy.
The conference will serve as a business-to-business (B2B) platform, bringing together leading Pakistani pharmaceutical, healthcare and biotechnology companies with Chinese investors, manufacturers, technology providers and industry leaders. Participants will have opportunities to explore investment prospects, establish commercial partnerships and expand cross-border business collaboration.
The programme includes structured B2B meetings, networking sessions and investment discussions focusing on joint ventures, technology transfer, contract manufacturing, research collaboration and local production partnerships. Officials believe these engagements will help modernise Pakistan’s healthcare ecosystem while enhancing the competitiveness of the country’s pharmaceutical industry.
SIFC said the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors remain among its priority investment areas due to their potential for industrial expansion, export growth, technological advancement and job creation.
The conference is also expected to reinforce the longstanding strategic partnership between Pakistan and China by encouraging long-term industrial collaboration and opening new avenues for investment, contributing to sustainable economic development and shared prosperit
