Like other friendly countries of Russia, if Pakistan should mediate in the Ukraine conflict, Russia will consider its proposal. If Pakistan and Afghanistan agree, Russia can mediate between them. The Russian ambassador said that he expressed his sincere appreciation and admiration for the Pakistani leadership for taking a balanced position on the Ukraine conflict. We value this behavior, which is often called positive neutrality. Like Brazil, China and other friendly countries of Russia, if Pakistan should mediate in the Ukraine conflict, Russia will consider its proposal. If Pakistan and Afghanistan agree, then Russia can mediate between them. Earlier in the speech at the opening ceremony, the speakers rejected the impression that Pakistan was pro-American and pro-Western, saying that despite the strong opposition of the United States and the West to China at the height of the Cold War in the mid-60s, Pakistan supported China, the world, as a mediator and facilitator for Pakistan.
