LAHORE (Web Desk): An Italian bride has travelled to Pakistan for love after a six-year friendship that began on Instagram blossomed into marriage. The bride arrived at Lahore Airport, where the family of her groom, Nabeel Awan, warmly welcomed her. The wedding ceremony was held after both families gave their consent and all legal formalities were completed. A wedding reception (Walima) was also organised at a local hotel in Kallar Kahar, attended by the groom's family members, relatives and friends. According to family members, both the bride and groom are hearing-impaired but are extremely happy to have found companionship in each other. The bride wore traditional Pakistani attire and quickly mingled with the local community, embracing the warmth and hospitality of her new family and surroundings.
