KARAK: Two police personnel, including a Station House Officer (SHO), were martyred when armed assailants opened fire on police in Karak district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to police, the incident took place in the New Karappa area, where unidentified armed men opened fire on police personnel. SHO Banda Daud Shah Daud Khan and his gunman, Farhad, were killed in the attack. Following the incident, Karak District Police Officer Imran Khan, accompanied by additional police personnel, reached the scene. Police have launched a search operation in the area to arrest those involved in the attack.
